TANNA JACKSON
In a storied high school career Tanna Jackson was able to achieve literally a lifetime of accomplishments. Tanna was a 4 sport letter winner and allstar. In softball Tanna was All-WESCO 1st team and won the team’s Outstanding Achievement Award. In volleyball Tanna was All-WESCO 1st team, was voted the Team Captain and MVP by her peers and led Lake Stevens to the playoffs. In Tennis Tanna was the WESCO singles champion, the team Inspirational Award Winner, and was the 1st Lake Stevens singles player to qualify for state.
Yet with all these accomplishments it was in Basketball where Tanna most excelled. She helped lead Lake Stevens to the Final 16 all four of her high school years. She was All-WESCO 1st team during her junior and senior seasons. She was also on the Everett Herald All-Area 1st team her junior and senior seasons. She was elected Captain by her teammates her junior and senior seasons and after 24 years is still the career leader in steals and the game and career leader in assists. She received the US Army Reserve National Athletic Award her sophomore and senior seasons and her career was capped by being named the Everett Herald High School Female Athlete of the Year for 1986-1987.
We are proud to welcome such an outstanding athlete and person to the Lake Stevens Viking Hall of Fame.
